UHS goodbye and getaway 070

It seems as though every single bit of inner turmoil that can spill out into outer frustration, anger…tension for me AND ESPECIALLY for my family boils down to this lie:

It’s all about you.

Where, oh where have I lost the way? I ask Him on the oh-so-needed walk I took while dinner was cooking.  I ‘should’ automatically know, but, He is patient enough to gently yet firmly say again:

You are making this about tasks, destinations, goals, the DO-ing and all I want is for you to see Me.

Beloved Child, will you bask in My Glory?

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed

into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

~II Corinthians 3:18 (ESV)

I continued to hear Him say: All of this change, journey, calling, is primarily the path of My choosing where My Glory will most profoundly be displayed in and through your Life.

And I sigh happy and begin to rest in a way that has eluded me recently.  I LOVE HIS GLORY!!!!  Do you know why?  He is Worthy—yes, first and foremost THIS!  But, also, because in His Glory there is everything that I miss when I believe the lie that it’s all about me.

In His Glory there is Eternal Life.  That touch, taste, smell, see, SONG of Heaven.  There is ALL that IS, always was, and ever will be. HIM.  And we are free to behold even now.  HERE!  In all that remains broken around and within, through Jesus, we can truly SEE.  BEHOLD.  HIM.

Friend reading, will you pray right now, with me, to have eyes to behold His Glory?  No matter what you are facing…His Glory.  Eternal.  Full.  In His Presence—Fullness of Joy.  We are called to the unveiled face that is FREE.  FREE TO SEE.  FREE TO BE HEALED IN THE LIGHT OF HIS GLORY.
